Well the dummy light came on at 180km (112 miles) We then rode to 200 km and bummed an extra 5 litres (1.5 US gal) and ran that for the extra 40 km (25miles) We then made it to the gas station and he took 34 litres (9 US gallons) so at the 240 km mark he used approximately 39 litres or 10.2 us gallons. So yea if we didn't find extra gas he would have been right out.
I guess I could just be so used to him getting such better mileage than me when I was running my piped 600 SX and the SRX is just oh so sweet lol. I dunno. I don't really want to tear it down in order to get it to stop burning oil, but if that is the only real fix, the motor is coming apart in the summer.
