Hi guys new to the forum, just bought a new to me RX Warrior and cant wait for snow. I was wondering what height riser i could put on it without new wires and or brake line? I was looking to get like a 2.5".

I just did put a 3" riser on and the throttle and choke felt tight so I replaced them but other people have left them as is. I heard one guy say that it was okay until he tried turning left and stretched the throttle which revved his sled into the side of his trailer. The brake hose and cable can be re-routed under the coolant overflow container. If you get a new throttle cable make sure it is from the 2005 Mountain and not 2003 because in 2003 it was not longer.

And welcome!

Do not be afraid to buy longer OEM cables that would normally fit a mountain model. Yamaha 4-stroke cables are easy to install, plus they're relatively inexpensive. This is what I did that with my '08 Vector and I was very pleased with the way it turned out.

Thanks guys, i will look into the cables. I may want a higher one anyways. One other question, has anyone bought a seat kit from sledseats.com? If so how did you like it? Do you have to modify the fuel tank cover to install it?

I can help you on riser and cables.Let me know how high you want to go.And if you want a standard style riser or pivoting type.
