2010 RS VECTOR GT LTX STOCK FOR NOW!
Hello guys just cleaned the carbs for the upcoming season and I bought a motion pro carb sync tool so I can sync the carbs. I was wondering one thing when you go to sync the carbs if you remove the vacuum line from the 2 outer carbs that run the fuel pump what have you guys done for fuel IV tank? Also please let me know if any one has any tips that would help with this procedure. thanks in advance jdp!

I am going to see if I can get Freddies instructions on syncing carbs in the tech pages.

Sync procedure.

1. sync carb 2 against carb 3. Take fuel pump signal from 1 or 4 or both.
2. sync carb 4 against carb 3. Take fuel pump signal from carb 2 or 3 or both.
3. sync carb 1 against carb 2. Take fuel pump signal from carb 3 or 4 or both.

Thanks I made am auxiliary fuel take to run the motor so I can hook up all four at once.

I was afraid of getting bad readings so I figured this would be the best way!

Just to update carbs are synced and sled has never run better! I have hesitated and waited for 2 years to buy the tool and do this big mistake carbs were way off and it was really simple to do! Just a few tips I made an auxiliary fuel take out of a sea foam bottle some quarter inch fuel line and a plastic tee. So when I went to sync I just removed the fuel lines from the fuel pumps to the carbs hooked them up to my aux tank and didn't have to rush while syncing. I think this was most important as it allowed me to take my time check adjustments and re check them before I was done! hope this helps anyone thinking about doing this!

Thanks for the aux fuel tip!
Did you buy Yamaha OEM sync tool or make your own?

I ended up buying a Motion Pro carb sync tool off of ebay for about 70 bucks. I found the auxiliary fuel tank really gave me plenty of time to do what I had to do it only took about 15 minutes to put it all together.
