Rx1 headshim affects on the bottom end, how bad?

Put it at least at 18 lbs (I know you don't want to) but believe be this is where the RX engine wakes up and starts to scream, try it you're gonne like it. Response moves to another level as well when the boost comes up. Where you now have to give full throttle to get 12 lbs, with the max boost set to 18 you will get 12 lbs at 1/2 throttle. Except off engagement lag will be gone. Set the cam lobes around 112-114. You may move the shim and add 2 gaskets to get higher compression... Propane is at 110 RON, compared to US Premium at 98 RON.

I dont want to turn it up for multiple reasons, first off, its no longer in a a yami chassis, the mounting system leaves something to be desired still, its way better then before, but im still struggling to keep the thing held in place, and cranking up the boost isnt going to help me. I also have issues with skid collapsing weird and ratcheting, so as much fun as it would be to just crank the #*$&@ out of the boost, there are other weak links in the non yami setup.

also, where I ride, when it does spool, 12# is enough to send my skinny arse FLYING up the hill, especially in the woods, the thing trys to run away as it is.

as for feeding the propane, i have the ignition advanced about 5-6* with the pickup slotted. And the turbo should be flowing more then enough air at these boost levels, the simmons guys i think all run 16-26#.. so are gonna need a bigger turbo.

I had a fan on the intercooler and that thing worked great, but it broke, so I am planning on just ditching the IC and allowing myself to cut about 2' or so out of the charge tube, so I will see how that responds. I noticed after making a few pulls the other day, the IC was so hot I couldnt hold my hand on it, so im thinking its not really helping me at all, it also adds a lot of bends in the charge tube system, so it should relaly help to get rid of it.

Then it's higher compression.... and your planned rebuild of the charge tubes and IC :-) Response down low is to die for.
