Hi guys! I've got 2005 RX1 and want to mod it (or use stock) by your advice.
I've got rear suspension and front shocks dead at the moment, so i have two options - put OEM, or get an aftermarket.

I'm an active rider, so i jump and often go at full throtle, that's why i'm looking as much wider track and skis as possible (snow is deep and loose here) to stay on snow, and not under it :D
Can you advice me those parts? Way too pricy will be tough for me, but i will look at it.

Also about front shocks, is it worth to get a FOX ones, or they aren't more reliable than stock?

I'm from ex-USSR, so sorry fot my english :) You're my last hope, cuz there is no place to ask about snowmobiles here. Thanks in advance!

153 cat skid to drop weight with 162 track, a little extra work if you want 16 inches wide. Simmons Gen II skis. Drop the weight from the clutch weights and order a shockwave helix. Float shocks are nice but I think coilovers are better for mountain riding.

Honestly searching the forum is the best way for information. This has been covered a bunch.

Get some Yamaha Mountain skis, a 153" Cat M series rear skid and a 162 x 16 Camoplast Extreme track. Raise your bars up using a RX-1 Mountain throttle cable and riser blocks or taller bars from the 05 RX-1M. You will need the leverage of the taller bars to be able to move the snowmobile around.
