As noted above peak hp 142.6 @ 10600 rpm, peak torque 80.1 ft. lbs @ 8000 rpm.

stock sleds come in around 136-137 hp, i have seen some higher, but either way there's a 5 hp increase. jeff

There has been some talk about carb boots becomming loose and hindering horse power. With the carb rings does this become a concern and if not how was this addressed???

I have the same concern, it looks like the filters clamp onto the aluminum rings, but how do the rings attach to the carbs ?

the carb rings are machine to be a light press fit onto the back of the carbs, you can epoxy in place if you want but they will NOT fall off. the rings also have a lip machined around the outside of the collar to hold onto the filter more securely, they also will NOT fall off. you'ld have to be an all star wrestler to get my filters off of the carbs without loosening the clamps. jeff
