RX1 vrs Apex

I have a chance to buy a demo 2008 apex for a fair price.But I would Like to know How big of a differnts from my 2004 rx1 with m-10.I like my rx1 over all I would like something that feels lighter in the trail and of course quicker.Your input would be great thank you for your time

I don't think you'll be noticing any performance difference aside from what the m10 is sucking out of you. Its also not significantly lighter to make much of a difference in the feeling of "lightness". The difference is mainly that the 08 seating position is higher and more forward, and that its harder to get access to the engine.

I have the 06 apex seat on my rx1 so the ride height should be about the same thanks for the info.I will save my 4,000 grand trade differnts and hope Yamaha will come out with someting new I can not live with out

Wow I have to say I thought there was enough difference to spend the $$$ I tried my friends 2 of them and loved the difference. Keep in mind I had an 03 RX1 I put a SkiDoo SC10 III in it rebuilt the shocks and new springs straight rate front springs 13mm swaybar more foam in the seat ECP kit EVACX kit Clutch kit Overdrive kit windage plates down 2 teeth, and a stock Apex would be a even race or really close. The ride was still not even close the forward riding is much better for me. I bought an RTX and the Mono is even more of a plush ride. Steering is better (although Yami skis still suck) This is just my opinion and why I moved up to the Apex

there was no comparison between my rx1 and 06 rtx Apex had way better performance and much nicer ride Maybe i had a poor rx1
