Hello, Im sure this has been talked about to death but looking to do some mods to my 04 warrior suspension. Rode a nytro last year and after feeling the suspension I had a hard time getting back on the Warrior. So my question is ZX2 and or expert X pros and cons would be great.
I do narrow rough trail riding and lake riding. The trails I ride do not get groomed. I'm 180lbs and ride hard, I raced motocross for 15 years.
Im looking for something I dont need to tinker with much or at all. LOL I wish.
I bought this sled new and I havent done a thing to it other than the dealer doing an oil change and sync, I rode it like I stole it. So the old girls getting a complete over haul.
Im green to sleds, I can barly tell you where the oil and gas goes. Im also green to forms so If Im doing somthing wrong like I did in the Mastercraft boat forum kindly just advise me.
Thanks

ZX2 is almost maint free and will take the pounding. Its spendy but when you factor in you can remove it and take it with you to the next sled (you'll want a apex eventually
). I have had mine in a RX1 then to my apex I cant ride any skid and trust me I like to switch things up. The ZX2 will compliment your Moto background. The rougher the trails the faster you can go, its amazing.
Top speed is not effected.
In 5000 miles I have replaced the hyfax once and 4 bogey wheels.
Look up mdkuni he has over 20,000 miles on his and only replaced a few minor parts. Amazing! Best part is no grease each year just ride and put it away when done.
As reference I have rode a RX1 sled with poo edge skid, M10, proaction, mono ohlins, proactive, and the ZX2. The ZX2 is in a league of its own. I'm 34 ride hard but safe. Skid is a absolute blast makes the sled feel 100lbs lighter because it picks up the skis when you scoot back, but keeps them planted when you scoot up on the tank, does every thing well and big bumps GREAT.
