Ok guys here's the question . I'm going to be installing a sc3 skid out of 2000 mxz in my 03 rx1 shorty but need some help . I looked up instructions on here but the only thing I found was for sc10 III are these the same as to the instulation aspects . If not ,does any one have mesurments and pics (hopefully) and is there anywhere that sells the back brackets for this install . I do not have access to another mxz to take mesurement from . And if anyone want to chime in to give there opinion on this skid in a rx1 that would be all right also . Any help would be great . The new skid is a 121 inch also . Thanks for the help .

What did you use for center to center dimensions for the skid mounts?
Your rear mount looks really far ahead...
thanx rick...

its a 121" stretched to a 136" is why they look to far forward

I realize that... I just put a 121 in mine and the doo site said 24-1/8 c-c for the newer sc 10 lll with the eyes in front of the tube where the shaft used to go.. mine are further back than yours...
Do you have a lot of rear spring sticking thru the front mounts?

Update.....
I was missing a bushing out of the skid . Took it to a skidoo dealer to get new one . I asked him to tell me what sled it came out of and what skid it was . After some digging he found out it is a sc10 II basicly the second version of the sc10 . And they came in a 97 skidoo 673 mxz . The guy I got it from was mistaken oops.Anyway the install went pretty easyly (thanks 04rxw10 for the help ) . The only problem I ran into is I didn't measure for the tunnel protectors so track hit them in the front so I had to drill 2 more holes lower in the tunnel . All ok now . So if you considering a skid swap make sure you include the protectors in your measurement . But suspension feels great in the garage when I sit on it and make varoom varoom noises LOL . I'm painted the back brackets so waiting for paint to dry . I'll take it out on Saturday and take it for a test beating . All in all very easy install I got about 3 or so hrs into it . I'll give a ride update this weekend . Sorry no pics as I don't know how to download them
