Im getting a clutch kit this summer and would like to know what you guys think. As far as initial set up and how much tuning is needed. I do most hard trail riding. And I have a problem with losing when linning up with other sleds

How much fine tuning or any is involved after getting one of these clutch Kits

I got ulmers kit and had to add more weight in the heel. Still not doing what I want, but Allen is very helpful on the phone.

I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I have Ulmer's kit in my phazer and it took me 20 mins to install in then i went riding and did not have to tune a thing. RPM where pretty much spot on, very happy with the kit.

I've got a Schmidt Bros stage II in mine and it absolutely rips. Low engagement, and it pulls like a freight train. Chris is awesome to work with and will sell you a kit customized to your size, riding style and mods. Awesome guys to work with!

Ok thanks alot guys I was going to go with Ulmers but now leaning more towards Scmidt Bros

kit

Ihave the schmidt bros stage 2 kit and it works really great.Nice low engagement and great pull all the way through.Great people to work with.

How is the schmidt broths kit when rolling onto the throttle/part throttle pulls?

I have the ulmers kit and at WOT it pulls, but part throttle and rolling onto it doesn't impress me

Love the schmidt bros kit...low engagement, amazing midrange pull and easy install. Set up for my weight and riding style! I had to do absolutely NO fine tuning...In the beginning i was underrevving and was concerned, but i found that i had the secondary spring set to 6-1 instead of 6-2..I thought it pulled hard before,,,i gained about 350 rpm's throughout and it seems to pull even harder!!!

Chris Schmidt is awesome to work with!! FYI i have the stage 2 kit with the cold air mod!!! ;)! ;)! ;)!
