Wondering if you could post some pics of your installation on stock Nytro skis.

Ya I will try and get some pics up later today or tomorrow. The instal took about ten minutes total! Very easy!Northernboy said:Wondering if you could post some pics of your installation on stock Nytro skis.

Did you just drill two holes near the mounting bolt. I going to take a ski off and line it up. Thanks

I drilled one hole as close as I could to the plastic in front of the spindle. Put the scratcher bolt through the hole and then lined up and marked the spot where I wanted the second hole. I never took off the ski at all and they line up great. All I did was lift the front and put the skis on old tires to raise them up some.
I took the sled out today and tried out the scratchers for sh*ts and giggles, and they worked great! Lots of snow spray hitting the track and slides.

All done, did exactly the same thing drilled a hole about 3" ahead of the main bolt, lined up the other one and all fit nice. Then I drilled a hole in the back to hook it on while up. Now I should get more snow to the slides and hopefully I wont burn a set ever weekend...

How much pressure is on the ski? Do you think the scratcher will eventually chew away at the ski?

To me it is not a big deal since looking at the bottoms and sides of my skis I do more damage...LOL
I was surprized at the thickness of the plastic so I see what they will do over time.
