Scratchers

Does anybody have the sweet spot to put scratchers on a 2006 apex and 2006 attack skid? I bought the spring style ones and just can't seem to find the right spot.... Pics would be much appreciated. Thanks fellas.

I couldnt find a good place, I sent mine back and put a pair of ski mounted scratchers on, I like them.

I found a nice spot on my 07 Attak GT. I used the existing bolt hole and drilled the small hole in front of it for the coil catch.
Worked good and shot lot's of snow up due to being mounted far ahead. I put a U shaped cleat on the rail to hold the scratcher. The scratcher bolt is behind the wheel and clears it by alot.

Hey apex 06....I was thinking of mounting them there also but was worried about drilling a hole thru the side web of the ski.
Thought maybe it would weaken it. How has it been working out for you?

Worked great on my last sled wiith over 5000 miles on them skis. And seem to be doing just fine on this set.
