I just took my actuator all apart. My brush springs were stuck, I had to cycle the springs some to get them working again. Seemed like the springs were corroded/ rusty.
Also had to sand/ polish the commutators, they were black.
I pulled the big brass gear, relubed with grease and some motor oil. It is still a little stiff to move after, but better. Gear was stuck in there from suction, but popped out once I figured that out!
Also make sure bushing for worm gear is pushed into plastic gear box before reassembly.

Ebay search......https://www.ebay.com/itm/82101-AFTE...024933?hash=item3d94b6fb65:g:eI8AAOSwJ5BdnfegHad mine apart and unless I am crazy that gear is metal not plastic in mine. I did take the circlip off but could not get the large round gear out. Im going to take it apart again to try to clean it and get synthetic grease in there. It definitely has resistance to turning and that seems like the problem for mine. Getting to the dealer is a hassle so for $18 I'd check out the Saturn or other adapted part but ultimately I'll take advantage of the warranty before she goes to Maine for the season.
I can find the parts being mentioned but not for $18.

I wound up ordering from Amazon for $113.
AC 0630-347. That part number is right on the label. The Yamaha part is $140.
