I was doing some pm on my sled yesterday and noticed the brass fittings going into my front mount turbo gas tank were loose. I had them teflon taped when I installed them but apparently that's not the ticket.Seems like the teflon tape almost dissolved or something. What product are guys using to seal those fittings. I'm thinking a leak can't be a good thing right over the header.

Thanks Rx1M5

These Teflon® based sealers have a rust and corrosion inhibitor. In aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and plastic, they deliver a flexible, leakproof seal against coolants, water, gasoline, natural gas, and LPG. These sealers will be effective from -30 to 550 degrees F, and have a sealant range of 10,000 psi.

ARP Teflon Sealer is what I used.

I use gasolia every day plumbing as well as on the weekends wrenching it works very well try your local plumbing supply warehouse

JB weld works very good for permanent install.
