Wahl bros 7 tooth 3.0 pitch for RX-1 are 15 buissness day delivery, can't wait that long, they shipped wrong one to me last time.

Do you know other company who make one, or who have them in stock ?

i paid 95 $ each. i need to get them soon.

Thanks

(dont know if i can post that here)

Sorry to hear that Tundra. HPE (High performance Engineering), Dennis Kirk, Hartman and Mountain Performance come to mind.

I have now seen that my Camo Extreme tips are rubbing just a tiny bit directly above the drive shaft. You can see it from the back of the sled but not the front. Let me know if you see the same thing.

What did you decide to do for gearing?

i dont know what youre talking about :ORC for the rubbing, can you put a picture ? Since i will probably have the sled in piece for at least 2 weeks, i will check all rubbing possibiility to avoid them. Youre talking rubbing on top or on the side ? Because my last track 16 inch wide was rubbing at so many place that i can't count them. But always just a little.

Gearing, my mind is stuck at 19/40. But to tell you the truth, its more because with reverse possibility to go down are limited. But i was spinning the 16 x 151 x 2 easily before with 21=40. I guess, i will be just a little weak in heavy sticky snow condition.

Its snowing since monday here, probably 5 or little bit more feet on the ground in the mountain area. Cant wait to try that monster.

oh, i forgot to ask ... How much is a tunnel extension at MPi, i cant find only extension price on the website, or a Hartman one.

Tundra, I don't know the tunnel extension prices off hand. I am guessing they are roughly $139.99.

I'll try to snap a picture for you tomorrow of the rubbing. It is just left of center on the top of the tunnel directly above where the track goes around the drivers. I can see a few black rub marks when I look forward above the track. It's so far forward that it's hard to really see very well unless I drop the rear suspension bolts. Chances are I may have to trim the tips of the paddles just a hair to get the Extreme to fit without any rubbing.

Have a good one. At least you have snow. We have the cold (it's supposed to be 13 degrees tonight) but it's clear as a bell with a full moon. It's pretty but it would be even prettier with snow on the ground.

Tundra, my arms aren't long enough to reach much further forward but I think you can see what looks like the track tocuhing the top of the tunnel above the drive shaft. I have Wahl Brothers 7 tooth 3.0" pitch drivers installed.

I may just let the very ends of the tips wear off naturally and not trim anything. I hate to reduce the capability of the track.

i dont know, i guess, we can modify the manifold protector with a good hammer to prevent paddle to hit it.

But i would'nt touch the track.

Here a pic of the protector with the 2 inch track. I will take a look tomorrow morning to see possibility.

I would suggest you something, youre track is to close front from the tunnel. You should put 3mm thick yamaha washer between the upper shaft of the suspension (front) you will have to pry the tunnel a little bit, but that clear the front bracket better.

And, that bad, but i will wait for the sprokcet, can't find them quicker.

Oh, and be good with me :tg: put a overall pic of youre sled with the monster track in

Here's a quick picture of my sled with the 162 Camo Extreme. It was tough to get a good angle with all the old vintage Skidoos in my shop.

that what am talking about hehe

Your sled is way much more clean than mine. Nice looking 4-stroke n.a monster

I know my 7 tooth 3 p drivers are 6.5" OD (not including teeth) anyone know what the 8 tooth 3 p drivers dimensions are???

Let me try to get a picture from the front of the sled. It looks like there is clearance from the front but from the rear I can see a few black rub marks on the tunnel cast bulkhead just above the drivers.

It looks like I have a bout 3/8" of clearance between the heat exchanger and the track and I also have 3/8" clearance on the top front of the tunnel. I can't see beyond the front of the drivers so the black marks must be from the track just touching just above and behind the drivers. Maybe it's from braking or letting off the throttle and the track buckles under deceleration?

i guess is does when decelerate, the suspension compress a bit and the track came loose for short amount of time.

Do your hear some rubbing sound when accelerating or when youre steady on the throttle ? did you try on a Jackstand or running on the ground ?
