i was wondering about painting my seat black or drying it not sure what people do to them, is it worth it or should i just buy a black seat cover, what has everyone done in the past?

You can paint it, it's looks really good when done right but.......I have had to retouch mine up about once a year where my crotch rides. No big deal. Just hit it with the cleaner really good and spray it again. I used some stuff I got from Auto Value, they had to order it but I think it was called SEM. Both the vinyl prep and the paint. Was about $25 for both. I can't remember if I got flat black or a satin or something. Can check later and post, at work now.

satin black from SEM is what everyone that has done it seems to be using

Well i used white Bulldog

My last sled I had was a rev x and I had the red zoo mountain seat on it that I painted black. It lasted four years of hard riding and I never had to touch it up. On the other hand I painted my buddies seat blue on his rev and it looked like crap after the first ride and I did I the exact same way. I got the paint at autozone i think. I would try it first before you drop a few hundred on a cover.
