Any one else had your seat fixed by your dealer after your warrranty expired? I didn't even know there was a problem until I read it here. And of course mine's ripped and no warranty left! Any one try a BOSS seat?
Are you sure that Yamaha won't cover the ripped seat. I am not sure but you should check with your dealer. If he say's that it isn't covered you should call Yamaha Customer Service. My brothers and I have had very good luck with Yamaha standing behing their products. Just my 2 cents and Good Luck :
Checked with the guy in charge of warranty coverage at my dealer today and he said no can do. Going to have a civilized talk with the rep on Monday. If he says no, then I'll have to change my attitude a little. The salesman who I always deal with said if Yammi won't do something about it, then he could probably (wink, wink) figure something out.
