seat wear from yami saddle bags

Anyone use the new gray and black saddle bags last year? I bought a set cause they hold 2x the amount of the combo and they a very slick looking. After a season of riding I took the bag off and noticed two small holes in the seam of the seat above the tail light where the stitching on the bags is.. I am not happy and wondered if anyone else had seen this issue. If not it's a heads up to others.

I found that out the hard way as well. From that point on, anything I put on the sled gets a backing of soft felt cut to size.
