I have dalton helix and I have yamaha white spring have it set 3-3=60 degre. If I mark where i sit now and take it part and change the seting to 6 on helix and wrap it back to my mark. How many degre have I change it to? Have one hole on secondary and on helix 0,3,6,9 holes(is dids right). Dont understand degre and like to learn.

3-3=60--6-1=70--6-2=80-- 6-3=90 these are most common.

Thanks for clearing this. 6-1= 70 is 6 on helix and 1 in secondary?

Seems like you add the numbers together and multiply by 10 and that is the degrees of prewind.... correct?
