Secondary settings

Ted, why would you want a stiffer secondary spring? I run a silver at 70-80 which has less side force & it works great. Any reason that you do this?

Because I found in testing that the silver spring upshifts too fast and causes a bog that most people would miss.

I feel if you have to wind a spring past 60 degrees it is the wrong spring.

The white spring gives me more consistant and faster accleration with no bog also less belt slippage.

I can also run more weight in the front clutch.

Thanks for the sttings, sorry I was so long getting back. dam work keeps cutting into the important stuff>

Hated the warrior spring IMO on my 05, slipped allot unless wound real tight.

Some senst to what Ted says. You can wrap over 90 deg if needed. Yea, it will keep the belt real cool and no slip, but it wont shift either.

There is one aftermarket spring that has me REAL happy. About 40% more side force than the silver with the same tornsional.
