Aren't most sleds stolen at night by taking the trailer, or backing up a pick-up, and lifting it in? What good will a tether do? If I was stealing one, I wouldn't start it, to alert the owner with a handgun.

I get a kick out of the show-offs that drive the sleds on a snow pile, to make it easier to load.

We were staying at the super 8,state police said theyve had a few stolen the same way, some were recovered after a joy ride, ours was not.actually my rx1 would have been easier to take.

I've always had a saying: "Locks only keep honest people honest - if someone really wants it, the BEST lock only slows them down a little."
Allot of studies have shown that most sleds that are stolen are parted out since they are worth more piece by piece than whole. I know this is especially true in Canada.
