i`am replacing the speedo. bearing on the front drive shaft but the new bearing had no set screws included with it is this right? i can`t seem to break the old one`s free i tryed spraying with penetrating lube and will let sit a while ,i `ve been trying to find set screws but am having trouble finding them i may have to use my old one so i don`t want to destroy them to get them out any idea`s , thanks are these a metric thread? it seems the only allen wrench that fits them is a 7/64th.???

You have to buy the set screw they don't come with the bearing. If I remember right its not a Allen head. I don't know the name of them. You could heat the old bearing up that should help.

I think the name is a torx bit, just be careful when you tighten the set screws because you'll break the bit

set screws

some pen. lube overnight worked like a charm t15 bit turned them right out thanks guys

The set screw thread size if bearing is US made is likely 1/4"x 28, or if metric 6mm x 1.0 or 1.25 pitch, 5mm x 1.0 or 4 mm x 1.0.
Bearing shops and/or fastener places should have set screw kits that they sell set screws by the each.
