I bought a pair of RTX rear skid shocks for my base phazer but am unclear on how to adjust and what adjustments there are
can anyone provide a quick how to explanation on what and how to adjust the rear RTX shocks...(pictures would be great also)

I believe the manual has a good explanation.It will be different for everyone but the most important thing is to write down your starting point so you can always go back and then experiment alot it will reward you when you get it right.

I herd that pulling the limitar strap tighter helps out a lot, havent done it myself though

Other than spring preload and limiter strap, there is only one adjustment. The rear clicker shock is compression only adjustable and that is it. Check the manual for the range of clicks on the rear and start at full soft and then add more compression damping if needed(i.e. turn in the screw a couple clicks if you are bottoming).

that is the main problem - no manual.
I am assuming that I need to be turning the gold colored setscrew on the res. tank of the rear shock...
clockwise is more compression, counter clockwise is less comression ?

Yes, comp on the bottom. Think of it as a screw sealing off a hole, the tighter, the slower the oil will get through, the more open, the faster the oil will go through, so yes, you're right again.
