I know all other skins are better just for NOW Want to get most I can out of tuner 2 skins! Please chime in ! I'm AT LEAST gonna use them beginning and end of season when there are rocks etc, early season riding ! ! ! Thanks Mike

Got the ski savers and shims from bergstrom.didnt make any difference with the tuners as they dont dart.they push in the corners.get a set of cat skis lots available and cheap

The Cat skis are available lots of places; you may be able to find them on Ebay, or even a used pair on one of your local classified sites. There are numerous on-line parts dealers for Arctic Cat and Yamaha. If it is a Yamaha site, go to the parts diagram for the 2014 Viper XTX and it will have the wider Cat skis that go well with your XTX. If it is a Cat site, I would look for the skis off one of their 141" sleds, like the "High Country." Country Cat will have them, but my recollection is that they may be more expensive than some of the other sites. You will need the skis, handles, rubbers and associated hardware. Some of the hardware from your Viper is common and re-usable with the Cat skis, but some is not. Last time I just ordered everything so that I knew I would have all the parts I needed.

I think skis I got are tuner 3 ! I had a 2014 Ltx se were those tuner2 ? Are the 3's worse than 2's ? My 14 wasn't bad with shims and longer carbides

Your 2014 should have had the original Cat skis unless someone changed them before you bought it. The Cat skis are decent, but the performance does depend upon which carbides you use. We picked up a used 2013 XF 1100 Cat turbo that has Cat skis and basic carbides; it does not handle all that well. We have put Cat skis and Snow Trackers on two Vipers and a Sidewinder and they work great. There is virtually no darting and in most conditions, little or no pushing. I have bought a pair of Snow Trackers for the Cat and plan to install them this weekend! Hopefully it will turn a poor handling sled into a good handling sled.

Thanks I look into that !
My 14 was pretty good , not as good as my buddies 2016 Artic Cat ,I think Cross tour, 146 with inner and outer wear bars ! Maybe the longer track but that thi g handled WELL ! I compared his 16 Cat to my 14 Viper and Cat steering was much better he tried mine and it was more Ferrari type his just steered Great that was before shims and longer carbides
