I hope somebody can help me. I need a new front shock for my 03 RX1. I have a guy that has an almost new set of shocks and springs from an 03 Mountain. Mine isn't a mountain. I looked up both sled's shock part numbers on on the yamaha parts diagrams. Their are two different part numbers for the mountain. The part number listed first matches mine. Does anyone know how differnet mountain front shocks would be from a non mountain..would the mountain ones work..ecspecially if I changed both of them, and why does it list two differnet shocks for the mountain on the yamaha diagrams?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I got the mountain shocks, and they were a little bit shorter. I changed out both of them. WOW. I thought I had gotten a new sled. It handled so much better in the turns. The front end is lower, but it was night and day. It handled so much better. Great mod! I never lifted a ski.
