Sh$t ! Do you have a tune with knock sensor that retarding timing and lowering the boost ?

Nope DD flashes don’t offer knock detection/protection, I wish that I have that feature, then maybe I would still have my motor running

WOW if it’s true! But no knock detection I wouldn’t buy, DD racing kinda stopped after they dropped AC and the new 998 came out,this is what’s heard in my parts. There good with the old stuff with racing.
Wonder what kinda fuel were you running?

I’ve never put in to my sled nothing less then 91 octane - usually ethanol free.

What did you hear or feel when that occurred?

Thinking about it even without a knock light the STOCK system should lower timing, stop boost,and go into limp mode, I had 1100 with DD Racing stuff with no knock light it still protected it self flashing code on dash ,just no bright knock light. If you continued thru after sled retards, keep giving throttle it will blow. Normally you stop shut sled off, it resets and then you go. I had there SLINGSHOT flash. Both motors 998 and 1100 have knock sensors protecting the motor, I had no problems,it will show code.

No codes no lights flashing on dash , just suddenly losing power with slight vibration felt . And when I’ve stopped motor wasn’t running on all cylinders.

When if you get motor done, see if they can tell what happened, there a lot of things that could cause this.

If I decide to keep it I’m gonna drop in new motor, I don’t think that I gonna take this one apart.
