Just curious. Anyone think this would work? If so advantages if any? Just thinking rollers would have lightning back shift plus longer legs.

If the shaft and splines is the same, if i remember right the Nytro has a bigger secondary shaft than the Apex.
Do the Viper/Sidewinder have the the same as Nytro or Apex?

I've got a new SideWinder on order and an hoping it comes in soon. I've also been wondering the same thing about the new roller secondary fitting on the Apex. As soon as I get mine I plan on checking to see if the new SW secondary will be a direct bolt on fit with the Apex and will report on the fit. I've got a couple of Apex's that I can check the fit with.

From my past experiences with roller secondaries you can expect an overall smoother upshift and backshift with no difference at all on the top end.

Viper shares same spline diameter as the FX Nytro. I'd guess the Sidewinder is same and if that's the case the new roller would not fit an apex/vector as they have a smaller spline diameter.

Rumor has it that the sidewinder jackshaft and splines are larger than the SR Vipers to handle the addtional HP. Not sure if they are different from the Apex or not.
