Significant 09 Question...

Two things;
1.) Did Yamaha put handwarmers on the new ones...my 07/08 sleds are worthless. Called Yamaha and they said they are working as they should?? I personally would have a hard time stepping up to a new one and spending the $11k without handwarmers...again!

2.) Nytro bulkheads - many have bent...I understand they have new front end geometery, however did they stregthen the fronts??

My rtx 2007 bars are great ,
usually run 1-3 bars ,
if below -25f then more ,
never on full !

The hand warmers are different they could not tell us what they changed to them. The nytros have 11 different parts including the front sub frame weather it is stronger time will tell.

Good to hear. Surprised that your RTX has good warmers. Here in MN we had a cold winter and there were many days that I rode my wifes sled or didnt ride due to the cold.

Nytro is a kick a&* assuming the improved the rear skid as well as the bulk head. Sounds like both have been addressed.

The driver hand/thumbwarmers work great on my VL - actually the thumb would be too hot if turned up too much.

The passenger handwarmers are barely there with a bit of warm when turned on high but better than nothing, I have talked to one other VL owner who has the same problem with the rear ones.
