Just picked up a pair of used simmons flex skis. I need carbides and wondered what other people were running. I know some people run different sizes on different sides of the ski. Any input would be great.
Thanks

Call Scott bergstrom at Bergstrom skegs. I just got some Bergstrom triple point carbides with shims & will be installing em on my Simmon skiis this weekend. He knows hist stuff when it comes to Carbides & can give you some great recommendations.

Ditto - Great product but pricey for dual runner skis.

Has any one tried shaper bars?
I have them on my rx and rev and LOVE THEM!

Yup, I run the shaper bars. 4.5 in on all 4 bars. Works great with 96 studs down the center. Carves great, steers nice, and I can turn EASILY on bare pavement. No push at all. Highly recommend. I paid about $150.00 for the set of 4 if I recall correctly.

I also run the shaper bars on my simmons. I hated the simmons when I first got them. They at least made them ok skis, however I'm still not impressed with simmons. Shaper bars have been on my last three sets of ski's and will also go on my new ones.

if you want to add an aggressive nature to the simmons...shaper bars are the way

Hey Maddog what dont you like about the simmons skis?? I'm thinking about putting them on my RX.
