Yes, but what how do you what kit to put on the Apex.... Which kit did he put on? RF, RT, REV, ZX? Do they a kit for a Yamaha? OR Do I just get a whole kit off a REV?

guys...this looks like the kit...apparently the hoops are separate...
the BUSHINGS used are the actual DOO bushings, but you need to just turn ONE side around, this makes the distance same as yammie,so it slips in perfect...I didnt see the bushings in that pic of the kit,so im not sure about if bushing come with kit or are separate.
My dealer being a yammie/doo dealer just handed me the skis which had hoops already ON and bushings already in them..and then handed me the bag with the mount kit which you linked to above.
here is what you need specifically,so you can ask for this when talking to DOO dealer.
-2 ski bottoms(5.7 or 6.9)
-2 ski hoops with rivets to connect hoops(or use SS bolts/nuts)
-4 bushings(they pop into the plastic ski where bolts goes, turn one around opposite way to make it fitup to apex perfect)
-4 standard DOO carbides(machs came with 4" i beleive)
-2 mount bolts/nuts/washer
-2 rubber bumpers(kit has two types for different manufacturers)
that should be everything...If you go to a doo dealer you might be able to have them setup the hoops with the rivets as my dealer did..then you just need to turn around one bushing and order the hardware bag with the cardbides.
hope this helps

The bushings come with the ski's and you can use the bolts from your Yamaha to bolt the skis and the small end of the loops. You will have to order the rubber stopper with the skis (its the bigger of the two stoppers they have) Also you will need two of the longer bolts for the lower conection on the loops. Now all you need is carbides. As far as mounting them you could do it like Machzed said or you could turn both bushings around and put two of those large bumper washers on the inside of the ski on each side of the spindle. Thats how I did it and the fit is perfect.

how much and from where?
I got them through a buddy for $250 with Woody's 6" & 4" carbides.

5.7 pilots
I bought the rubber mounts, $5.75 each and the pilots ski's. I used the Yammi bolts, used my yammi handles, cut off 3/16 on each side to fit and bought 6" shapers for $75.00 and 6" outers for $49.00. You do not need the mount kit or the bolt kit for this to fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
