if your not studded than good luck, if your properly studed than adjust your suspension to transfer weight properly. also make sure your clutches and belt is warmed up before you hammer on it. if all the above is correct you wont bounce off the rev limiter. jeff

Thanks Jeff, I figured you'd have an answer, never considered making sure the belt and clutches were warmed up though.

Bring the sled to the ty ride at lac du bonnet & I can easily fix that nasty overrev for ya!
Thanks Turk, I should have it there being that I live in Lac du Bonnet, lol.
pmplumber said:I have geared the sled. It came with a 23 tooth top. I was topping out on the radar gun at 121 mph. I have put a 26 tooth top in. It is more well behaved on the trail. I will continue to add weight to the arms this weekend. If it does not work, I will buy the kit from Jeff.
"here kitty, kitty" Should have came and found you when you had that 121 gearing in it
!! pmplumber you know that thing has at least 10 more mph in it easy and will still be a great trail machine. Word of advice, Dennis the Menace on here knows his stuff he is the guy to touch base with for fine tuning. How did the mach do with that extra kill switch or is it in a million pieces again!!??

Also the the CPR kit, if you have a belt thats worn, you will bounce off the rev limiter. This happend to me last weekend, weights fully loaded and was hitting rev limiter. Put a new belt on, broke the belt in properly and problem is gone.
