Ski and skeg combo's

I made no rear skid adjustments. just lowered the front till A arms were level with me on the sled. I call it point and click. I point the skis the direction I want to go and I click the throttle and away we go. no push at all and as far as darting I can be at top speed on a railroad grade and let go of the handle bars cross my arms across my chest and let the sled coast to a stop with out so much as touching the bars. love snowtrackers.

OK, been reading these threads when they come up, I run 8" Stud Boy Shapers, stock skis, on my 09 Nytro RTX, love them.. 6" dually's on my wifes Apex. I think they suck but she says they ok, would like to try something different for her, "easier steering". How do the ST's hold up on road crossings an such? Or Bergstrom Triple points?

Snow trackers seemto hold up as well to street crossings from what i can tell

they don't steer good on dry pavement going forward this is true but they turn real well in reverse. I do plan to get a wheel kit mainly to make them last even longer seems I always wind up some where that you have to ride a road edge for a mile or so and with the mild winters there has not been much hard pack. What wheel kit do you have? would you recommend them?

Rouski on my viper and i love love love them!!

Rouski wheels are very similar to the RollerSki wheels and are very well made as well. However, I like the way RollerSki design places all the weight on the ski spindle instead of using the plastic of your ski or the carbide bolts.

I am hard in the middle of this topic now with my 2009 Nytro. Over on the Nytro forum I have detailed my $1000 front end rebuild for everything which means budgeting skis, etc. I would likely have gone curves but for $425+ and then add carbides, I found some 150mm Tuners and am putting Bergstrom ski savers on, their triple carbide and then up in the air on going with their "wear bar" or with another single carbide. More to follow and some seat of the pants comments once snow flies.

Mark go aggressive they make them for the 11 up. The 10 back and 11 up are slightly different skis. Use right Trackers for right years! I have the aggressive on my 11. I also have a set of semi aggressive for my 11. I was afraid of the word aggressive so wimped out and went semi aggressive. Big mistake I wished for better bite so I went to the Aggressive, me happy now!

I went to Simmons on my Warrior, then Curves. Both worked well (I was looking for flotation to lift the front of the Warrior in deep snow!) but made the steering a bit harder! Darting was almost non existent! When I bought my Apex I hated the stock ski with its 2 inch carbide. So I tried the Curves for a season. Then I tried the Simmons and with power steering they worked pretty good but even with the power steering they bothered my shoulders and had me rethinking sledding altogether! Ya I know I'm getting old! So I put the stokers back on and Snow trackers first semi aggressive then aggressive. my shoulders love them. Two finger steering is sweet and the XTX design keeps the front lifted off trail! For the Nytro some say The tunners are best!

Sasquatch is your XTX studded . I have a 2015 and was thinking about getting the Snow trackers .

I pulled the trigger on Bergstrom 8" triple points, 1/2" wear bars, ski savers and shims... Will start with that this year and then see where I am next season...
