How long do they hold up before you must change them?

And whats the most common problems?

Which one. The 500ss(600), 600SDI, 600ETec.

If its the 500ss it will last for ever. My wife rode one for 8500 mile without issue and sold it. The SDI is ok! The ETEC to me is a big money hole.

The 500sswas a good engine inthe rev chasis but not the xp chasis(tnt) thet have a diffrent pipe and more timing.They had many engine failures.My buddies mom's 09tnt is on her third rebuild since the beginning of last season.

Didn't know that, the one the wife had was an 06 Rev and that thing would go. It seems like the XP has had a lot of issue.

They aren't that bad just watch for cracked carb boots.Thats usually the cause of meldt downs on them.Most of my buddies get 16 21 us mpg depending on how they drive.

Y pipe requires attention also as they like to fall off.
