Ski Doo fuel caddy

has anyone mounted the Ski doo fuel gas can on the back of an XTX using the exhaust turn out pipe? If so, has there been any issues with the gas can getting hot or melting? Mocked everything up today and it still looks a little tight.

That being said. I have tried to look around for post on the ski doo fuel caddy with just using the turn out exhaust tip on the XTX with no luck. I could be using wrong criteria in the "search" who knows.
