Is there anything you can do to minimze steering pressure. I was thinking about some how putting an arch in the ski. I dont know if you could put shims under spindle bracket to bow the ski. I like the USI X2 skis but rally dont want to drop $500.00. Any advise would be appreciated

This is the exact reason i switched to the skidoo 5.7pilot skis on my apex..
Everyone i talked to said there sleds turned easier after installing them..
Only thing.. I havent had the chance to test them yet..
Also make sure all the steering bushing are lubed well.. Last year i had severe hard steering.. and found out my bushings were almost completely frozen

Buy Bergstrom triple point carbides. They are rockered and will therefore rocker your ski, accomplishing your goal. Get ski savers while you're at it.

Another vote for Bergstrom. The steering is very easy.
