I KNOW THIS IS OLD HAT BUT I JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER 06 GT AND NEED TO SHIM THE SKIS.

IS THERE A PRODUCE SOLD OR DO I HAVE TO LOOK AROUND AND GET CREATIVE?

I use tractor tire tube rubber (thicker than regular tubes) on the apex, rear of spindle. Used a sheet metal screw into the rubber ski block to keep it in. The rubber flexes so it's not too aggressive, but you can add layers for more pressure. Worked for years.

Bergstrom sells plastic spacers that are very inexpensive.

Take a old belt cut off 2 couple inch Peace's and cut the cogs off that's what I used to shim my skis

When you cut the cogs off flush it just over a quarter inch if I remember correctly

with the sled setting on a flat surfaces, shim the skis so the carbides are flat with the surface also.

Left over piece of Hyfax ground down with an angle grinder works.

Consider using brass screws. I found the steel/plated ones will rust/rot away and you may lose your shim. I had various thickness of rubber gasket material that I used. As for thickness to use, I used just enough so when the front end is lifted off the ground, the skis are slightly tipped up at the front.
