Hey folks,

Few friends are heading out on a ride this weekend. One of my friends sled was making a clunking sound and we noticed it was missing a bushing that holds the suspension skid to the frame.
No dealer around has it and will take a week to get in. Is there ANYTHING that can be used as an alternate in the meantime?

Thanks!

As a premium cobbjobber, I have used pvc pipe plastic pipe, and grinding to size with a little Dremel sanding drum. In fact, there are still some holding the sway bar on my old 05 vector. They were tighter than the new ones I bought and still working good. Worst case, plastic shim stock, vinyl tape, anything to prevent metal to metal. I've seen these shafts with bushings gone for hundreds of miles...if not thousands. Some people don't notice anything.

Hard to believe no dealers have this. It is a common wear item.

Have a use one from 06 Apex i thunk they are the same
could send it to you
