I read the article about the skid setback Yamaha did on the race sled skids. They used a support plate on the outside of the tunnel and just riveted it there. Would this be a good idea to do on the Phazer MTX when doing a skid setback?
Is it steal or aluminum?

I should guess that is´s steel, I think aluminium is to soft to gain som stabilty. Also the colour looks like the "yellow" colour Yamaha have on steel parts

Plate we used was steel. No reason to setback the Phazer. Nytro was to short of a wheel base

I'm going to a 151" track from a 144 and also changing to a timbersled skid so I figured I set the skid back so I won't have to use extensions and also get an better angle on the track
