Just wondering if anyone out there knows why ski-doo is advertising all there linq bags with linq written on the side of them but can't get them. I have been looking to put 2 of the 19+3 L bags on my new LTX. I ordered 2 off the ski-doo website thinking I would get what there advertising but no such luck! Now I'm trying to return them. Has anyone purchased the new 40L 137 bag? Would like to see pictures of the inside of that bag before I purchase one. I guess that one is coming through with linq written on it since it's new.
I just ordered a LinQ bag from skidoo site as well and in the pic it shows LinQ. It comes in on Monday so I will post but it better not have skidoo on it

Which bag did you order? If it's the same 19+3 LinQ bags that I ordered I will be shocked if they don't say ski-doo on it. I have called several large ski-doo dealers and none of them have a 19+3 L bag with linQ written on them. If the bag you ordered is new to production this year you will probably be ok.I just ordered a LinQ bag from skidoo site as well and in the pic it shows LinQ. If it does say Ski-doo, and you don,t wont to send it back, per Rockerdan, acetone will help you get that off.

I had used a black Sharpie marker and just colored them in.
And i was also able to get the 2 smaller bags as well as a gas can on a 137" AND keep the SW pouch on the tunnel by using the Up North Bracketery. Works like a charm

Couple things guys....
Don(my dealer) did add some small Yamaha patches over the "ski-doo" logos, which works and Ron has that sled now.
The new "linq" bag logos will look much better(without the huge skidoo logo) but my dealer could not get certain models as of now without the skidoo...BRP wants to sell out their old stock first, so be very careful when ordering the short bag like mine, as those are likely still going to come with skidoo logo. While some of the newer styles like sr21 and g4 type bags should now be shipping with "linq" on the side patch, as those are bigger sellers these days.
I used acetone/PVC plumbing pipe cleaner(home depot) on my older Short linq bag.....while it worked, it was a fair amount of work and took some time with the large stripe. I sold my sr21 bag to another member here and he asked me to remove the skidoo logo and so I did that for him, and it was not as hard as the stripe/logo was much smaller, and that bag is 2 seasons newer too.
Don told me certain logos can actually be peeled off with heat, now Im not sure about that as these bags are sorta like a material and the logo paint seems to be embedded into the screening...But worth a try i guess?
One other thing you can try if they dont remove completely, and I did this to finish off my BRP clear view muffs when removing logos.....You can use some printer ink(black obviously) from your printer cartridges(I refill mine so I have a bottle of ink) which soaks into the material and when dry it blends perfectly....I would test that in a small area first to be sure. But it worked great for me when one or two letters of skidoo logo would not completely come off my brp muffs which is a screened type material.
I will say, the ALL BLACK bag looks superior in every way on the winder....The short bag has been a sorta ugly looking glorified lunch basket for many, but now in all black with hideous stripe(that made it look slanted) and logo removed it really looks darn nice! And this style/size is the only good fit on a 129 tunnel, which works with the tailight and stock smaller tool bag in place.

Same thing happened to me. Ordered my bag on ski doo site hoping to get the "linq" bag. Paid retail and shipping, and it was sent from my local ski doo dealer saying "ski doo".
