are most people hanging the muffler ahead of the hanger bracket?
I hung mine behind the bracket which put it close to the flap, seemed to work fine riding in Iowa, but when out west the flap got caught by the track and melted a hole in the flap

Just another exhaust outlet then. ;)!

I made my own undertunnel exhaust. Found a CRF450 silencer and had it cut and welded to the header off the nytro. Made a hanger bracket out of some flat aluminum and some rubber to dampen the vibrations. Works perfect. About 4.5 inches from track and have yet to hit it. Looks and sounds great. Oh, and I made a door where the stock exhaust exited. Adds a little underseat storage.

It is the the rs3 I picked it up on ebay. Sprint cat mine is on a 144" set up. The bracket that came with the muffler worked perfect with some spacers and bolted to that bracket under the tunnel used for the stock exhaust.
