Is it worth going through them for the sub frame... my experiences with insurance companies aren't good. I would rather pay the $500 out of my pocket rather than see my auto insurance go up on all my vehicles over the course of the next 3 years.

Anyone, make a claim (first in three years) and find that insurance rates went up or stayed the same?

Re: sled insurance
I rolled my 05 Vector a few years back and did over $800 damage. I submitted it to Liberty Mutual and they raised my rate by a couple of dollars but nothing substantial. If your damage is significantly above your deductible it's normally worth submitting the claim and If you do see a big jump in your rate find a new company.

I wouldn't use my insurance unless it was a total loss. Most people have at least a 250 ded some 500... thats the cost of the parts you need... why put an accident on your record... you will be put in a different "risk" category... seeing a spike in premiums.

I pay $450 for 2 sleds with a $200 deductible, that's with full coverage through Liberty Mutual.

I have St. Farm insurance on everything. House, car, truck, motorcycle, and snowmobile. I live in Central Wisconsin and I am a 36 year old male. I pay 242.83 and that is Liability bodily injury limit of $100,000 each person. $300,000 each accident. Property damage limit of $100,000 each accident. Medical payment coverage limit $1000 each person. $250 deductible physical damage. Uninsured motor vehicle coverage bodily injury limits of $100,000 each person, $200,000 Each accident. and Under insured motor vehicle coverage bodily bodily injury limits $100,000 each person, $200,000 each accident. I've been a St. Farm costumer for 19 years and they have always treated me fair.

Just swapped to state farm... $200+ savings... $248 for the year, 2 nytros.... where was that offer last year. Must have had something to do with accidents coming off my record.
