Hey guys im new to snowmobiling and I recently got an apex, I didnt want to use a trailer as I have a truck and would rather load it up there so I bought a ramp and put the plastic protectors on the middle section of the ramp because the track is studded. The problem im having is, it will not go up the ramp, it just spins and has chewed the plastic on the first few rungs along with my driveway lol.
So im wondering if im doing something wrong or how to correct this problem, it seems like the studs are the only thing that are gripping the ramp and its not enough to move the sled up the ramp, I watched videos online and it seems like people have no issues as all getting up and down but my apex will not climb.
thanks!

ski guides on ramp are good where it stops?
i do not have studs but have gotten stuck like that. i got it up by hitting it a bit faster and letting off once full track was on ramp.

Momentum is your friend here, But, not too much! Your sled will not pull itself up the ramp on brute power without smoking the belt.

You really need something for the skis to slide up otherwise when you hit the ramp the carbides will just catch a rung and push the ramp right up. You will keep going forward as the ramp goes up being pushed by the skis. Ask me how I know about that one! It's frustrating, I know your pain.

I have a two place enclosed trailer. I have a ramp as well to load in trailer. You need the right speed to get up the ramp. This is the only time that is complain about the heavy four stroke that I love. Good luck
