Sled made some funny noises today!!

Its not an overheat issue, its the TORS! If ice gets into the switch on the throttle pin it will activate when you push the throttle , if you hold the throttle pin stationary with the sled running and push the throttle it should activate the TORS system and give you the code, try it see if its the same.

You may want to check your oil level too. last time I changed mine I was a quart light and it would idle but the rev limiter stopped it from moving till I added some. No light or anything but it wanted oil

Thanks guys, I will be sure to check/try both things. ;)!

Just finished checking and I could not get the TORS to activate?

I pushed the pin away from and towards me numerous times and nothing happened?
I assume TORS isn't working on my sled and could have something to do with the issue I experienced?

Also checked the oil level, like I figured, it was fine. ;)!

- Bring her out on Friday and see if it'll do it again bud.
- Heading to the NH Forest.

- If not...Saturday will get ya tonnes of info!

You heading to NH on Friday, heard they had less, plus you seen it for yourself, snow than the Ganny had.

Know something I don't :dunno:

- I've got an inside source bud.

- They groomed today. :-o

- Not wanting to stray too far from home, so if it does happen to be less than quality conditions, it's not a lost day.

- More snow coming between now and then as well.

- Remember the quote I sent...

mine did this it was ice build up on the throttle right around the pivot pin the water got in there and froze not allowing the throttle to slide and close the switch. it should show a code.
