I have an 09 Nytro rtx. On my last ride the engine all of sudden starded to stutter on idle and lower reving, almost like fouling plug. All of sudden it dropped to two cylinders like it would of had fouled a plug. It was obvious it sounded like venture 500. So I ve checked plugs, they re all firing, one seems little dimmer but still okay. There is no fault code in cluster either.
Wondering if there s something that let go for the firing of one cylinder.
Bad gas maybe, but I ve already tried fuel anti gel and that wasn t the case.
Plugs seem good to.

Fuel anti gel. Maybe you mean gas line antifreeze. Anti gel is used in diesel fuel. I would replace the plugs anyway. How many miles on those plugs. Might have spark but could be weak.

Antifreeze is what I ment, and plugs have been changed at start of year, they probably only have 500km on them. They are showing a spark, maybe a little weak, I only had one new plug last night (will get others). Compared the intensity of spark was not much different really. I will throw in other plugs today. Seems like it might be something else, but what?
Could bad gas of caused this, specially with so much ethanol in it now at days.

Sounds like your TORS is acting up but that should throw a code 84...check your throttle/throttle cable to make sure everything is not too tight or iced up.

Throttle cable is okay. Was operating good on that day, then all of sudden it would intermitantly run rough (to me running on 2 cylinders). It did that till the point that it fell on 2 cylinders and stayed running like that.
I have another Nytro I m going to compare the spark to it, see if its any greater.

Swap the ign coils from one to the other and see if it gets better...Nitroya said:Throttle cable is okay.
