I had just put on new hand wind guards, I had to take the throttle apart to get old screws out and twisted throttle down to let screws fall out, when I put back together and adjusted the throttle to a comfortable spot the sled now dies when I press the throttle, I have opened it back up to see if any wires have been pinched and it looks normal. not sure what else to check. please help

Did u let the sled warm up before giving it throttle?

sounds like tors... make sure your cable wasnt pulled to tight...

the cable could be the problem, I would have pulled it tight when I twisted it, how do I fix it, is their an adjuster exposed or under the hood?

you can adjust the cable right by the handle bar follow the cord down from throttle. i would make sure its not wrapped around the bar or anything first before i adjusted it. make sure the cable isnt too tight. if all looks ok and the cable isnt tight and not wrapped or caught on anything you might just need to adjust the tension on the cable a little. there will be a plastic rubber thing protecting the cable adjustment. pull the rubber back and you will see the bolts. adjust in small increments.
