I rode 150 miles yesterday and have a problem with my Apex once it warms up, roughly 5 miles or more of riding. Once I get completely off the throttle the engine stays at 3,500 to 4,000rpms... enough to keep the clutch engaged. It still wants to coast between 10-15 mph until I hit the brake to stop it. Even with the brake on and stopped the rpms are still above 3,500 and the sled wants to coast 5mph or so. When I start it cold or after sitting for a while it idles perfectly at 1,500 rpms. I have checked numerous things like clutch engagement, throttle free play and the idle and everything is within spec.... any ideas?

Did you check your airbox? The sensor on the clutch side of the box may be unplugged or dirty or damaged in some way. Check that first, and take the cover off the air box and make sure everything is clean.

I havent checked that yet.... didnt think that would be a problem but I will def take a look at that. I was thinking towards a throttle cable problem maybe... but the cold warm thing has me confused

Thats an odd issue. I was thinking of a throttle cable issue too but Im not sure it would do anything different if it was warm or cold...
