Hello. Can get a wicked deal on a sledstart remote start system from the dealer. There are 2 models available with 03 and 04 in part numbers.
I have a 2009 Nytro XTX and the 03# isn't listed anymore while the 04# is listed for everything after 2012. So my question is will the SMA-START-03-00 fit my 09 nytro?
The 03# is listed as an inactive part on other sites which makes me think is the reason it isn't listed at all on Yamaha (Canada's) site.
Would like to know before i spend good money on something I can't return. Thanks for any help.

Yamaha no longer offers the product, I believe due to safety issues with the remote and their legal department

What product do you mean? The 03# is not sold anymore? Or the sledstart system in general?
The reason I ask is that both models mentioned above are available at a discount at a dealer. this would explain why. But by the sound of it the system isn't recommended anyway.... maybe i'll stay away.

Thats what I heard on all the systems.. not a specific part number. I ripped one off this year. Guy told me it was a pain more then a help but I am sure there are units out there that work well.

Hey bud i had one of these Sledstarts for a while now and just put it on my Nytro because it’s there and seems like I should try it. Hooked it up and it starts fine but doesn’t cut off when touch the brake or throttle. Did you have to do anything different when you hooked yours up. ThanksI have one on my nytro and never use it.
