Does anyone know what type of material sled wrap decals are made from? Its like a thicker material that has gum like glue on the back. No decal shop around here knows what it is.

I'm pretty sure "wrap " is just a term for the procedure....the material has a different thickness but its nothing special...Arctic FX use a thick vinyl, Sledwraps uses a thinner material...some are more plyable than others...it's all just vinyl.

Sled Wrap
There are a lot of different vinyl options, it's not all the same. The vinyl they should be using is call "high tack vinyl". It sticks to the plastic better than standard vinyl. The thick part of the decal is actually the laminate. The vinyl varies is thickness too, but not as much as the laminate. If you don't have high tack vinyl, it probably won't stick to the plastic - or at least not as long anyway. I own a vinyl/sign company and work with this stuff every day.
