I noticed wear on my slider runners and I was wondering how that could happen. These are the plastic pieces on the front of the skid, prior to the Hyfax.
The wear seemed excessive and unusual, could this be caused by a loose track?

Just replaced mine @ about 5,500 miles. I think I let the hyfax run too low. If they're the ones I think, they're about $25 a piece. Good luck!

Loose track and, or do you have your limiter straps out all the way, this will cause the track to hit these bumbers. had the same problem on a 2000 SXR.

What do you reccomend for the limiter strap adjustment?

Loose track? How much droop do you have in the track? Feel or hear any ratcheting?

There is a spec for the strap adjustment. If I recall correclty there is quite an acceptable range. However, I left my Service Manual at the cabin. Maybe someone else has one handy. If you look and there is no tension on the straps, then they are probably too loose.

With the sled sitting on the garage floor or any flat surface look up front and you will see if it is to close, thats how I found it on the wifes sled and it also vibrated some at higher speeds. When the track comes around the rails the windows hit the bumpers, if so suck them back up.
