Looks like I have quite a few choices, thanks for all of the information!
Does anyone know if I need to break the sled in first, before installing the slip on?

I picked my can up the same day I picked up my sled from the stealer. He also garanteed me that it would not effect warranty or break in.DeepFrz said:Looks like I have quite a few choices, thanks for all of the information!

Take a look at MPI, or AAEN! But if your going with something like a $500 or more slip on i'd think about just doing the full exhaust from excell, hindle, or AAEN all great systems im sure. I can speak for excel they are awsome, great customer service with a great product, I had a Hauck husher slip on but it lost power, it slowed me down 2 mph in 1000 ft distance and gave my sled a stutter. I went round and round with them and they finally gave me store credit. Decided if i need a power commander for a slip on i could just as well save up some money and get what i want. But if i were to go for a slip on i like the two i mentiond and the hindle also.

You probably don't NEED to but I would just to be safe.

I have a mpi. It's a little too loud for my liking.
For some reason I liked piped 2trokes but not a huge fan of loud 4strokes.

I just installed the Yamaha factory Ultra Qmuffler. I've been
running the Excell header with stock muffler. We'll see how the
Ultra Q works with the header.

My vote would be any streetbike silencer.
Some will fit straight on, some will require an adaptor pipe.
They are for sure lighter and quieter than all of the snowmobile specific stuff.

I rode mine for a season to get seat time an feel out the sled being my first 4 stroke. I decided the the ultra q being I ho through residensial areas an didn't want the loud pipe. But the mbrp an aaen pipes sound badass!!!
